Black Lives Matter is an international social movement formed in the United States in 2013 after George Zimmerman, a man of German and Peruvian descent was acquitted of charges stemming from the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager, in Sanford, Florida, in February 2012. Dedicated to fighting racism and violence against black people, especially in the form of police brutality. The name Black Lives Matter signals the condemnation of the unjust killings of black people by police and the demand that society value the life and humanity of black people as much as it values the life and humanity of white people.

This theme is related to the topic of social organization, because thousands of people around the world came together to protest the constant abuses that black people suffer in the actuality. This movement has many goals which seek to draw attention to the many ways in which black people are treated unfairly in society and the ways in which institutions, laws and policies help to perpetuate that injustice, thus promoting society to organize and protest united. The movement has combated racism through means such as political action, letter writing campaigns and non-violent protests, also relating to the topic of human ingenuity, as people devised many strategies to get to communicate this situation around the world.

In conclusion, this organization was carried out to claim the rights that all people have, regardless of their race or skin color. The campaigns were carried out to consent to the society in which we live, leaving aside any prejudice that we have and treating everyone equally. In addition, this movement has promoted the best education for children and adolescents in colleges and schools, resulting in the teaching of better values and a dislike for discrimination expressed in any way.
